Due to demand for our classes we now have two venues you can choose from for your baby class in Dalkeith! We offer complimentary trials to new families and we’d love to welcome you along to play!
The Kirkbank Centre
On a Tuesday afternoon we are in The Kirkbank Centre at Newbattle Parish Church. Our class runs at 1.30pm and is suitable for babies from birth to 12 months.
The Kirkbank Centre is located at the back of Newbattle Parish Church. There is a small road to the left the church building, turn right at the back of the church and the Kirkbank Centre is the green building on your left hand side.
The Restoration Yard, Dalkeith Country Park
On a Wednesday we are in The Wellbeing Lab at The Restoration Yard in Dalkeith Country Park. We have 2 classes a week in The Wellbeing Lab.
- Wednesday – 1.30pm for little ones from 0 – 6 months.
- Wednesday – 2.40pm for little ones from 5 – 12 months.
When driving into Dalkeith Country Park, follow the signs for The Restoration Yard. The Wellbeing Lab is on the first floor and is accessible by stairs and a lift and there is plenty of space for prams upstairs. There are car parks close by, please leave 10 minutes from carpark to venue and do take your pram wheels rather than carrying your car seat. There is a cafe onsite.
About the sensory sessions
Our classes are baby led, fun, colourful and themed and we’ve put together a blog post which details a little more about what to expect when attending one of our sensory development classes. We have also answered some of your frequently asked questions but please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if there’s anything else we can help you with.
Classes can be booked by visiting our booking site and if you’ve not been to one of our classes before, you are very welcome to join us for a complimentary trial. You are also really welcome to join our classes at any point in our term subject to spaces being available.
we are also very keen to help parents continue to help their little ones develop at home and have put together a library of articles which detail play at home ideas, information on baby development and improving those gross and fine motor skills which will help your little one as they grow older. We hope you find these articles interesting reading, and for a more hand-on approach, we also run free baby development workshops which we call “how to play with your baby“. We have a few sessions running each month and you are welcome to book into one of these as well.
We’d love to welcome you along to our baby classes in Dalkeith!
